Why don't I receive any emails from DreamFC?
There is a good chance that members who have a Hotmail or AOL email address will have problems receiving emails from us. This is a problem that is affecting many websites at the moment. What you need to do is look in your 'Junk Folder' and you will see our emails. So they are reaching you but instead of going in to your 'Inbox' they are being marked as junk mail by Hotmail and AOL. To overcome this problem you should go to your 'Junk Folder' and click our email then click the 'Not Junk' button. This means that you will receive all future emails from DreamFC.com.How do I make changes to my team selection?
- Step 1)Log in to your account
- Step 2) Click the 'Make Substitutions' link on the right side of the page
- Step 3) Click on the player you would like to remove from your starting 11
- Step 4) Click on the player you would like to add to your starting 11. The players should now have swap positions
- Step 5) Repeat this process until you have made all necessary changes
- Step 6) Click the red 'Save' button to save and finish
How do I change my team formation?
- Step 1) Log in to your account
- Step 2) Click the 'Make Substitutions' link on the right side of the page
- Step 3) Click on the 'Formation' drop down menu at the top of the pitch
- Step 4) Select your new formation. The system will automatically replace one of your forwards with a midfielder or visa-versa to make sure each player is in the right position
- Step 5) Make any substitutes you would like to make (see 'How do I make changes to my team selection?' question for help doing this)
- Step 6) Click the red 'Save' button to save and finish
Why can't I change my team formation?
If you are seeing an error message when you try to select a new formation this is because you didn't select a broad enough squad when you first registered. For example, if you registered using a 4-4-2 formation and didn't select any other strikers as substitutes, then you only have 2 strikers in your whole squad and therefore, you are unable to play the 4-3-3 formation.Please also read, 'How do I change my team formation?' and 'Why can't I make changes to my team selection?' questions.
Why weren't my changes reflected in the points calculated?
This is probably because you saved the changes after the first match of the day kicked off. Points for any match day are calculated based on the team lineup that is in place at the time the first match starts. Between the start of the first match of the day and the end of the last match a message will be displayed at the top of the substitutions page to remind you of this. Any changes made after the start of the first match will however take effect on the following match day. Yes and No. Yes - when the transfer window opens you are able to trade in your current Assistant Manager and get a new one, subject to available transfer funds. No - you can't change your Assistant Manager on a weekly basis like substitutions, you have to wait for the next transfer window to open.How do I create a Mini League?
- Step 1) Log in to your account
- Step 2) Click the 'Mini Leagues' link on the right side of the page
- Step 3) Click the red 'Create League' button
- Step 4) Enter your League Name and Password. Remember that your league name must be unique from any of the mini leagues that are already live.
- Step 5) Click the red 'Save' button to save and finish
When I looked at another manager's team, they have more than 2 players from the same club, how come?
One or more of these players were playing for a different club at the time the squad was set up and have transferred since. When this happens, some squads can end up with more than 2 players from the same club. The managers of any such squads will be required to transfer enough of these players out to bring the number back down to 2 or less at the next transfer window, if they wish to make use of it.When can I transfer players, buy and sell?
We will have 3 transfer windows during the season. The first will be in October 2010, the second will be in February 2011 and the third will be in April 2011.How will transfers work?
During each transfer window you will be able to make a maximum of 5 transfers. Each player you sell will be sold at current market value, not the price you bought them for at the start of season and all players you buy will be at current market value. You are also able to transfer your Assistant Manager but this will count as one of your five transfers. All transfers are subject to the standard rules which mean you cannot exceed your transfer funds and you cannot have any more than 2 squad members from the same team. Also note that some players on your squad may have changed clubs since you selected them, meaning that you may have ended up with more than 2 players from the same club. If this is the case, when making a transfer it is compulsory to transfer out sufficient players to get back to no more than 2 from the same club.Can I get more transfer funds somehow?
Yes. The clever managers out there have already started recruiting other managers so that their transfer funds increase in time for the first transfer window. All you have to do is use your 'Boost My Transfer Funds' link to start earning extra money for the transfer windows. You can earn up to an addition £10m! This is how you do it:- Step 1) Log in to your account
- Step 2) Click the 'Boost My Transfer Funds' link on the right side of the page
- Step 3) Choose the method of promotion you would like to use. You have 3 choices, either; Tell-a-friend; or Forum Signature; or Website Banner.
- Step 4) Depending on what you selected:
- If you selected 'Tell-a-friend' (default) Enter your friends' email addresses in to the boxes provide and click the red 'Continue' button.
- If you selected 'Forum Signature' Copy the text inside the box and paste it in to your forum signature on all the forums you use. The more forums you use the more change you will have of others clicking and joining via your link.
- If you selected 'Website Banner' This is mainly for webmasters who run websites or people that use social networking sites such as MySpace, Bebo or FaceBook. Simply copy the text in the box and paste it in to your website code or profile page code and then sit back and wait for the transfer funds to start rolling in!
When I try to save my transfers I get a message saying I cannot have more than two players from the same club. Why?
Some of the players on your team may have changed club since you selected them, meaning it is possible under some circumstances to have more than 2 players from the same club on your team. If this is the case you are required to remove enough of these players to get back to 2 or less from the same club during the transfer.I can't log in!
You have probably forgot your username or password. If this is the case then click here: http://www.dreamfc.com/forgot and enter the email address you used to register. We will then send you a reminder with your username and password.
