Cole swapped West Ham for Chelsea in August 2003, signing for £6.6million. The gifted midfielder was tipped for stardom from boyhood and hasn't disappointed. A prodigious talent, he emerged as a key figure in the Hammers' first team, possessing a full repertoire of tricks and often a driving force with his all-action displays. A product of the West Ham youth system, he clinched a place in England's 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Cup squads. Joe Cole signed for Liverpool in July 2010.
