Livewire striker who signed from West Ham just before the transfer window closed in January 2004. His pace and agility are a constant threat and he enjoyed a lively start at White Hart Lane, including a goal on debut in the 4-3 win over Portsmouth. He soon broke into the England team, making his debut against Sweden in March 2004 and scoring on his first start in the World Cup qualifier in Poland in September 2004.
