A strong and quick striker, Bedná? is a Czech international football player currently playing for West Bromwich Albion. Bedná? joined Hearts on a permanent deal in August 2006, but exactly a year later he moved to Albion on a season-long loan deal. Albion paid hearts £2.3 million for Bednar who signed a three year contract in 2008. Bednar went on to rattle in 17 goals in just 22 starts to help Albion clinch the championship title and reach the FA Cup Semi-Finals for the first time in 26 years.
