Highly-rated goalkeeper whose consistency was an essential part of Rovers' defence during the 8 years he played there. The American's magnificent 2002/03 season was recognised when he was included by his peers in the PFA Team of the Year. Has gone from strength to strength during his Ewood Park career with his magnificent shot-stopping ability. Scored his first-ever Premier League goal at Charlton Athletic in February 2004. He joined Aston villa in July 2008.
