Gianfranco Zola

Zola began his managerial career as an assistant to Pierluigi Casiraghi with the Italian Under-21 national team. He helped lead the group of youngsters to the quarter-finals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In September 2008 Zola moved to West Ham United and, despite not having the required coaching license, took over as manager from Alan Curbishley.
