Talented young forward who completed a permanent move to Blackburn from Arsenal in January 2006, following a successful initial loan spell - and celebrated by scoring a hat-trick in the 4-3 win against Manchester United the following day. The former England Under-18 captain prefers to operate in a deep-lying role but has also been used in wide midfield. Spent the 2004/05 season on loan with Norwich City. Transferred to Tottenham Hotspur in July 2008, and started for the first time with the England senior squad on February 6th 2008.
